Mark S. Rakoczy, O.D.
Dr. Mark Rakoczy attended University Pittsburgh at Johnstown from 1974 to 1977 and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1981. He entered practice with the U. S. Army in 1981 at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and received the Meritorious Service Award in 1984. In 1984 he began his Optometric practice in Everett, Pennsylvania.
 His honors include the Academic Achievement Award, the Clinical Excellence Award and the Bausch and Lomb Contact Lens Award from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. As a student, he traveled to Haiti with the Student Optometric Service to Humanity and will be going back to Haiti in May of 2010 to provide eyecare to those in need.
Dr. Rakoczy is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, Southwestern Pennsylvania Optometric Society and past member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He is also a member of the Everett Lions Club where has has held the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. He has been named a Melvin Jones Fellow, the Lion's Club's highest honor. He has been a board member of the SouthCentral Blind Association for more than 20 years and has been published in Review of Optometry. Dr. Rakoczy has three children and enjoys fishing and traveling.

Pam Rakoczy
Pam Rakoczy-Office Manager
Pamela received her degree in Elementary Education in 1979. She entered practice with Dr. Mark Rakoczy in 1986 in Everett, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Paraoptometric Society and Southwestern Paraoptometric Society. She has been past president, vice president,secretary and treasurer of the Southwestern Paraoptometric Society. Her community services have included the Everett Women’s Club and Everett Free Library Friend.
Pamela is the office manager overseeing the running of the office, is responsible for insurance billing and accounts payable. She is a jack of all trades and will fill in wherever needed or if someone is out sick. She is also responsible for the visual field testing done on patients.

Brenda Johnson
Brenda joined Everett Eyecare in January 2008. She comes with prior experience in the retail field.
Her areas of specialty include Optician, frame selections, dispensing, repairs, adjustments, frame inventory, lab ordering and lens verification from labs.

Mary Susie Davidson
Susie joined the staff of Everett Eyecare Center in January of 2008. She comes to us with many years of experience working in the Optometric Field; having worked with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists in the past. She is the PreTester and Contact Lens Technician for Everett Eyecare. Her PreTest duties include pre-testing the patients which includes taking histories, blood pressure, color vision, depth perception, Optomap,glaucoma screenings and visual acuities. Her Contact Lens duties include ordering and dispensing of contact lenses, and contact lens teachings. |

Yupin Talley
Yupin entered practice with Everett Eyecare Center in October, 2006. She comes to us with many years of experience in the medical field. She is the receptionist for Everett Eyecare. She is responsible for scheduling of patients; insurance verification; billing; and pre-appointing, to name a few. |
